In Alphabetical Order

Air Condition

We have limited number of apartments
with air condition, therefore the surcharge is 7 EUR / night for air conditioned apartments. Reservation is necessary. If you would like to reserve an apartment with aircon, please mark this request in the comments field of your room reservation form, or send us an e-mail.

Airport Transfer

Our airport transfer service costs 25
EUR for 1-4 persons/one way/ car. Our
driver would wait for you at the arrival’s
hall holding a board with your name on
it. We are able to provide this service
only in case your flight’s scheduled
arrival time is not later than 22:00.
Reservation is possible via e-mail
(„Contact us” menu ) presenting the
following information: flight company,
flight number, place of departure,
sceduled landing time (Budapest time), number of people arriving, contact
phone number. Please note that this service can be cancelled 24 hours before the flight
arrival. In case of late cancellation or no show, the full service charge is applied which is EUR 25.

Baby Cot

Available on request, reservation is necessary at least 24 hours before arrival.

Bathtub / Shower

All our one bedroom apartments have bathtub and most studio apartments have bathtub except 3 which has shower. If you have preference, please contact us via e-
mail.

Breakfast

We do not serve breakfast, as we are offering self catering serviced apartments with fully equipped kitchen. However our reception staff will be happy to suggest good places to eat breakfast at a reasonable price (about 5-8 EUR/pers) within 200 m walk..

Check In Time

Our official check in time is from 14:00.
However, if you arrive earlier, our reception staff will help you to store your luggage and of course, we will do our best to have your apartment ready as soon as possible even before 2 PM.

Check Out Time

Our regular check out time is until 11:00 AM. Should you wish to extend your stay or ask for a late check out, please let us know before 11 AM.

Cleaning, Daily Cleaning, Towel And Linen Change

We are operating self catering apartments. On your arrival day your apartment is cleaned by 14:00 and supplied with clean towels and linen. We provide cleaning service and full bed linen+towel change after 6 days included in the room rate. Please note that daily cleaning service and towel change is not included in our rates, however it is possible to order for an extra fee of 20 EUR/one time, 24 hours advanced notice is necessary at the reception. For towel change or extra towels, please turn to the reception, we do not charge for it.

Credit Card

Yes, you can pay by credit card. Our central office is located in another building (not at the reception) so the credit card terminal is not at the reception. That’s why you need to fill out an authorisation form, this document is allowing us to charge the card you have provided. We can only do the transaction if the card is physically there with you and it has your name on it. We are not allowed to charge a credit card that does not belong to you.

Door Opening

Please do not leave your key in the lock from inside. If you do that and you shut the door, we won’t be able to open it by our service key, therefore we’d need to call a door specialist which has a fee of HUF 13.000, payable at the reception or directly to the mechanic.

Extra Bed

We can provide extra bed for 15 EUR / night. Please note, that these beds are comfortable for only 1 or 3 nights stay and they are not as comfortable as a normal bed. Maximum capacity is one extra bed / apartment.

GPS Coordinates

Hair Drier

We provide hair dryer in each bathroom.

Internet /WiFi

We do have WIFI connection in every apartment, it is free of charge. There’s no password required.

Kitchen Equipment

All apartments come with fully equipped kitchen which includes the following items: plates, glasses, mugs, cutlery set, pans and pots, microwave owen, electric kettle, toaster, electric hob, owen.

Late Check Out

Regular check out time is 11:00 AM. For your convenience, we always try to be as flexible as our occupancy allows. Please contact reception the night before your check-out date. Our late check out policy: Late check out is free of charge until 13:00, between 13:00 and 16:00 we charge half day accommodation fee, after 16:00 we charge full day. Late check out is subject to availability and must be approved by the reception. For daily fees, please contact us.

Lost Key

All guests are responsible for the number of keys they received on check-in. Replacement of lost or unreturned key is HUF 5000.

Luggage

Yes, we can store your luggage at the reception area, before check in and after check out for free.

Noise

The quiet hours of the apartment house is between 22:00 pm to 7 am. Please keep all the noises down as most of our guest are here to rest and relax. The hotel reserves the right to ask any guest behaving in a manner disturbing other guests to leave our premises with no money refund.

Parking


We have limited number of underground parking place just right below the apartment house. Reservation is necessary, the cost is 15 EUR/night/parking place. Please contact us directly if you wish to book it and we will inform you whether we have available place for your dates of stay. Alternative parking is available near the apartment house as well, please contact us for further information. Parking in the street has a fee of HUF 440/hour, paying period is daily 08:00-20:00 from Mo-Fri. Nights and weekends are free of charge in public areas all around the downtown.

Pets

Basically pets are not allowed in our apartments, however small pets can be
brought occasionally, please contact us
via e-mail.

Phone In The Room

Unfortunately we don’t provide landline phones in the apartments.

Public Transport (From The Airport, From Keleti Train Station)

If you come to Budapest by plane, you will arrive to Liszt Ferenc International Airport. When you choose public transportation to reach our apartment hotel, please follow the below steps and surely you won’t get lost:
1. Please get on the public bus no.: 100E (stop is outside the terminal) and go until „Deak Ferenc tér” (final stop) Get off the bus and go the underground metro station
2. You’d need to find metro line 1 (M1, yellow line). Take the metro M1 to the direction Mexikoi út get off at „Opera” Station (2nd stop)
3. Our apartment hotel is located behind Opera House, 2 minutes walk from the metro station. Our street „Ó utca” is the second street behind State Opera House. From Opera House, walk down in „Hajós” street and take the first corner to the right. Please find our entrance on your left next to the bar and „Otthon Centrum” Office.

Reception

Our reception desk is at your service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please find it in the inner garden (as you enter the building through the glass door walk upstairs and than turn left, If the glass door is closed late in the evening or during the night, please press 201+”bell sign”, and the receptionist will open the door for you.

Safety Box

We don’t have safe deposit box in the rooms but we can put your small size valuables in our safe at the reception. Please note, management does not take any responsibility for valuables left in the apartments.

Smoking

We have only non smoking apartments. Smoking is strictly forbidden in the apartments, as smell causes damage in the apartment, and high risk of fire. Smoking is allowed in the balconies of the apartments and the designated smoking areas of the building.

Stag / Men Only Parties

Do to our bad experiences in the last 12 years of our operation, we strictly do not accept stag parties or men only groups, or any other kind of celebration parties in order to guarantee our guests a convenient and relaxed stay.

Toiletries (Shampoo, Lotion, Conditioner )

Please bring your own toiletries, we do not supply shampoo, lotion etc.

Tourist Information

Our friendly staff at the reception is ready to answer all your questions regarding sightseeing, restaurants, tours etc.

Valuables Left In The Rooms

Opera residence doesn’t take any responsibility for valuables left in the rooms/apartments. Please use our safe at the reception.
